Boarding the Allure of the Seas

We all fell asleep very early last night and, therefore, were awake very early this AM.  Feeling good and looking forward to boarding the ship that docked early and is visible from our balcony. I still have a hard time believing that anything that huge can float!  Will have to overcome that thought in order to enjoy floating for 7 days!

We met the boys in the little dining area off of the lobby for continental breakfast and Italian coffee - that woke me up!  Packed up and ready to walk to the Shuttle bus that picks up a few blocks from the hotel.  This small, quirky hotel is in the perfect location for folks like us who love to board early to have an 'extra sea day' in port. We don't sail until 8pm.  Many of the passengers boarded in Barcelona and are spending the day in Rome today.  So we have the luxury of a day on the ship with
